An index to individuals' biographies available in books on biography,autobiography, periodicals, newspaper obituaries and other printed materials. Contains information on both current and historical figures.

Books In Print Plus
Updated monthly, BIP provides ordering information for books published or distributed in the U.S. Author, title, ISBN, publisher and subject fields are searchable. Full text book reviews are included for many titles.

Facts on File
Weekly digest of U.S.and world news since 1980, with more than 600,000 entries in the cumulative indexes. Searchable by keywords, date,and year.

Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia
Containing more than 35,000 articles with comprehensive indexes of all the articles, pictures, maps, and multimedia features.

Phonedisc USA
Telephone listings nation-wide by geographical area. Searchable by name or address of individual or company. Businesses are searchable by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code.

PDQ: Public Diplomacy Query
Information on international relations and foreign affairs from publications produced and acquired by USIA, containing the full text of State Department briefings and official statements. Newspaper articles relevant to U.S. foreign policy are also included.  

Time Magazine Multimedia Almanac
Contains the full text of TIME articles from January 1, 1989 to June 30, 1995 and the historical news since 1900.

U.S. Foreign Affairs
Contains the full text of documents released by the Department of State between 1993 and 1996, including Dispatch Magazine and major speeches and testimonies by DOS officials.

Who's Who Collection
Biographical information on notable world figures as presented in eighteen different volumes of Marquis' Who's Who publications.

2 Million Fax Numbers
2 Million Fax Numbers Phone Book on CD-ROM lets you search and find the fax number of 2 million U.S. and Canada Businesses. With this CD-ROM you can search for a business anywhere in the U.S. and Canada to see their phone number and fax number, or you can search by a phone or fax number to find the business listing.

Encyclopedia Americana
The Encyclopedia Americana Ondisc mainly consists of four parts:
1. The complete text of the Encyclopedia Americana, America's oldest encyclopedia, containing 45,000 articles written by over 6,500 contributors.
2. Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, including definitions for over 150,000 terms, 1,000 illustrations, plus glossaries.
3. Chronology of World History, a comprehensive listing of events from 10,000 BC to the present.
4. Dictionary of Science and Technology, containing over 130,000 entries in 125 fields of science.

Famous American Speeches
You can search hundreds of famous American speeches by subject, speakers, time line, multimedia or use study guide. The audio clips, photographs, and video clips are available in some speeches.
